An award winning photographer, Joe Sachs has spent much of his career in Manhattan working for Fortune 500 companies as a commercial and fashion-editorial photographer. The recipient of the New York Art Directors Club award and the Nikon/PDN award, Joe and wife Anne, relocated to the Baltimore-DC area in 1995, where they specialize in wedding, portrait and lifestyle photography. By combining the calm confidence that comes from years of handling major shoots with the enthusiasm of being able to tell a wedding story through romantic images, Joe and Anne create photographs that become a tangible reminder of the feelings and emotions from the day of your wedding.

Through unobtrusive photojournalism and limited portraiture, their work focuses on capturing the special moments, fun and all of the emotions throughout the day. This means working closely with each bride and groom both before and during the day in order to create images that are unique and meaningful to them.
