Business Description

Michigan Wedding Officiant, I do non-denominational weddings suited specifically for the couple. They can have as traditional a wedding as they like. Call Rev.Jody to design a ceremony for you..

Questions & Answers
  • What makes you different from other local wedding officiants? Why should someone hire you? I feel I'm a more "down-to-earth" type Minister. I'm easy to get along with. I enjoy making my couples happy. I have also the support and contacts for others in the Wedding business that I can can supply couples with leads to quality wedding vendors in the local Detroit area, that will work with ANY budget. Case in point it the fact that when in comes to Wedding Cakes, the ONLY store I recommend is Party Cakes in Berkley. having won Blue ribbons at the Mich.State Fair for her Banana Cake, and for her designs, Voted #1 in Oakland County by the voters of WDIV-TV's Best Of compitition. We've teamed up to provide couples with what we call " A Minister and a Cake." Book a wedding cake through her and get 20% off my services. And during the months of December 2008 and January 2009, if you book us delivery and setup of the Cake is free. That's over a $100 value. And for couples on a budget, those are the types of savings a young couple starting out need..

  • How many wedding do you officiate a year? Between 50 and 60..

  • How far are you willing to travel? Is there a travel fee? I'll cover most of the Lower state. But there is a 40 cent per mile charge over 40 miles from my home in Berkley, Mi..

  • What is your event cancellation policy? I ask for a $100 non-refundable deposit to hold the date and to get my script written. The balance of the fee is payable 2 weeks prior to the wedding. If the couple cancels out side of that 2 week period, they lose the deposit only. If they cancel within 48 hours of the planned ceremony all monies would be forfeit. Between the 2 week and 48 hour period, the balance amount paid would be refunded. If the event were to be rescheduled, then I'd try to work it into my schedule to still be there for the couple..

  • What is your customer satisfication cancellation policy? If I did a bad job, such as call the bride or groom by the wrong name, continually, through out the ceremony, I'd return all but the $100 non-refundable deposit. After all, I still did the initial work. I do absolutely everything in my power to give each couple what they want in the ceremony. .
