Questions & Answers
What is your customer satisfication cancellation policy? I don't really have one. I have never really thought about that! I have never had an unhappy customer. Most of my couples write to me and thank me for making their day special. In fact, many of them like to keep in touch and ask me to do their vow renewals! I do lots of vow renewals for couples I have married. I take plenty of time so that I know what you want and make sure you are happy with your ceremony. I am happy to help coordinate things (if needed) so that your big day is perfect..
What are your standard payment terms? I ask for a deposit to secure the date. You can pay the balance on wedding day if you want - or you can pay it before the wedding day if you don't want to mess around with payments on wedding day..
What makes you different from other local wedding officiants? Why should someone hire you? I am very personable. I love what I do and take the time to make sure that my couple will love their ceremony. I do not charge for meetings if you would like to meet me before you decide to hire me. I always arrive early. I will work with your budget. I can help with planning & coordinating if needed. I am very easy to talk to and understand that some couples have special circumstances and might want something out of the ordinary. I will listen to what you want and make suggestions for things you might like to include..
What is your event cancellation policy? I try to be flexible. If I hold the date for a long time I would expect a deposit that is not refundable. If you need to cancel and I have not held the date for a long time I understand and will work with you. I do not require full payment in advance. .
What documents do I need to bring to our first meeting? You don't need to bring any documents if you get your marriage license at a court. I will need your marriage license on wedding day. If I issue the marriage license I will need photo identification such as a drivers license, passport, military I.D. Anything with a picture is fine..
