Hyatt Regency Long Beach is located adjacent to the Rainbow Lagoon and across from Shoreline Village and The Pike in downtown Long Beach. We have 528 guestrooms and 22,000 square-feet of banquet space, which includes an outdoor facility for garden weddings. Our menu selections are not the limits of our expertise, rather suggestions to assist you in planning the perfect affair. We will be happy to customize any menu to suit your needs. Seaview Ballroom, Foyer and
Rotunda
Seaview offers a lovely venue for your celebration. The Rotunda features floor
to ceiling walls of glass, allowing the beautiful view of the harbor to serve
as a stunning backdrop to your event. Serve your guests cocktails and hors d'oeuvres
in the Seaview Foyer, followed by dinner and dancing in the Ballroom. Seaview
can accommodate banquets for up to 300 guests or a cocktail reception for 500.
Rainbow Pavilion
A truly unique spot, Rainbow Pavilion is a voluminous, climate-controlled tent
set amidst the green lawns overlooking our lagoon. Create a specially themed
gala for 400 in a seated banquet or 700 in a classic reception set up. Rainbow
Pavilion can also be used to host your wedding ceremony.
Regency Ballroom
This gracious ballroom, the largest of our banquet facilities at 10,000 square
feet, boast soaring 16-foot ceilings and recessed chandeliers with of thousands
of twinkling lights. This spacious ballroom can easily accommodate even the
largest wedding guest list, with capacity to seat 1,000 for dinner.
Couple your event with the adjoining Regency Foyer, with its wall of windows overlooking the beautiful harbor, to host your cocktail reception. Regency Ballroom also offers its own coat room for added convenience.
Beacon Ballroom
Your guests will have a magnificent view of Queen Mary, Pacific Ocean and Catalina
Island from the only waterfront ballroom in Long Beach. Let the daytime sun
or evening stars shine on your celebration through the glass wall with 100 feet
of windows. Beacon Ballroom can accommodate over 400 guests for a banquet or
over 800 for a reception. The adjoining Beacon Rotunda offers an outstanding
locale for more intimate receptions for 150 or a formal banquet for 70 guests.

Every wedding – no matter how large or small – involves many details
to be looked after. To make your planning easier, we have compiled this list
of items you may not have considered in the excitement of creating your special
day. Other questions are answered in the FAQ section. Of course, your dedicated
wedding specialist is on hand to answer any other questions or concerns you
may have.
Seating arrangements and room set-up
Most rooms can be set up to match your plans. We offer flexible seating ranging
from eight to 12 guests per table. Hyatt Regency Long Beach can create a ceremony
room, set in round or chapel style, if needed. Choose from any number of venues
to find the one to suit your style.
Dance floor and risers
These are fully mobile and adaptable to your specifications.
Order of Events
From traditional to your own unique vision, allow your wedding specialist to
assist you in deciding the flow of your day.
Audio-visual equipment
Our onsite audio-visual experts, PSAV, can help you execute your ideas, from
a slide show to special lighting.
Ice Sculptures
Our team of culinary experts can create an ice sculpture to match your theme,
from simple to the most elaborate ideas.
Parking
Valet parking and self-parking is offered for your wedding guests. Parking charges
for guests are often covered by the bride and groom.
Wedding Cake
Our award-winning pastry chef can design your perfect wedding cake. Choose from
a variety of designs, styles, and flavors. Our pastry chef is available during
the tasting to discuss all of the details for your one-of-a-kind creation.
Gold Passport
Hyatt Gold Passport points are awarded for all food and beverage purchased for
your wedding at Hyatt Regency Long Beach. Two points are awarded for each dollar
spent for all events starting after 5 p.m. Every 8,000 points earned allows
one overnight stay to be used at a later date
Pricing
All food and beverage charges listed with the Hyatt Regency Long Beach Wedding
Package are exclusive of current taxes and service charges. A 25% non-refundable
deposit is required with the signed contract. Your final payment is due fourteen
days prior to the wedding with a personal check. After that time, we will require
a cashier’s check (due no later than 72 hours prior to the wedding). Our
menus and pricing are subject to change without notice until a final contract
is signed. All prices are subject to change and are guaranteed six months prior
to the date of your event. By California State Law, the sales tax is added to
the total cost of the function, including service charge.
Guarantee
A final number of guests is required three business days prior to your event.
This number is your guarantee and may not be lowered. The hotel will prepare
meals for 3% over the guaranteed count. Final charges are based on your guarantee
or actual attendance, whichever is greater. Function rooms are assigned by the
number of guests anticipated as well as a revenue minimum.
Deposits
A 25% (non-refundable) deposit and signed contract are required at the time
of booking. Please keep in mind, your deposit does not apply towards the final
payment. Instead, it acts as a reserve for any additional items which may be
ordered the night of your wedding. Any unused portion of your deposit will be
refunded via mail after the event.
Food and Beverages
No food or beverage may be brought into the hotel by the guests or persons attending
the functions. All food and beverages will be supplied by the hotel. In the
event you plan to bring in your own Wedding Cake there is a cake-cutting fee
of $1.50 per person.
Linens
We have a variety of colors available at no cost to you. Tablecloths include
White, Black or Ivory. Napkin colors are White, Black, Green, Navy Blue, Ivory,
Red. We also have Ivory or White Striped Chair Covers with matching floor length
Linen at an additional charge. Other linens may be rented from outside vendors.
Your Catering Manager can inform you of the cost.
Decorations
Please keep your Manager informed of your decoration plans, as they need to
meet the Long Beach Fire Department safety regulations. Arrangements for additional
set-up time must be coordinated in advance with your Catering Manager
Coordinator
The hotel requires that you hire or appoint someone who will act as your coordinator
during your event. Please provide your Catering Manager with the name of your
coordinator 30 days prior to your event.
Security
The Hotel accepts no responsibility for any personal items left in the Room,
nor does the hotel accept responsibility for rental items or vendor equipment.
However, should you be interested, your Catering Manager can arrange for a Security
Guard at an additional fee.
Damages
The patron assumes full responsibility for any damages caused by the patrons’
guests.

Q: Can I create my own menu?
A: Yes, our food and beverage experts are happy to create a
menu that reflects your wishes. Our experienced team will work with you fulfill

Q: Can I taste all
the food before the wedding?
A: Of course. A complete tasting of all the selected menu items,
including your cake, will be scheduled several weeks prior to your wedding.
At that time, we can make any necessary adjustments.
Q: How long will
my reception last?
A: Generally, a wedding reception is planned for four hours.
You can extend the time if desired. Your wedding specialist will advise any
additional costs for the additional time.
Q: Can I have an
open bar at the wedding?
A: You can elect to have an open bar, a limited selection of
wine and beer, or a cash bar. Your wedding specialist will advise you on the
costs and inclusions for each.
Q: Do you have suggested
vendors for flowers, music, photography, etc?
A: We work on a regular basis with several vendors. We will
be happy to give you contact information.
Q: Can I host a
morning-after brunch or a rehearsal dinner at Hyatt Regency Long Beach?
A: Certainly. We have several locations that would be appropriate
for these occasions.
Q: Are taxes and
gratuities included in the pricing?
A: No, your contract pricing will not include all taxes and
gratuities. Please remember, pricing is not final until a signed contract is
returned to your wedding specialist.
Q: Can my guests
have a late check-out the morning after the wedding?
A: We will try and accommodate your guests’ requests,
however, this will be dependant upon the overall occupancy of the hotel on the
day in question.
Q: Can I decorate
the reception room?
A: Generally, yes. There will be certain limitations in some
rooms, which your wedding specialist can review with you. Allow us to give you
ideas and suggestions that have successfully worked in the past.
