Potomac Point Winery and Vineyard provides the perfect setting for any Event you care to host. Choose from several venues around our grounds that create the atmosphere you would like to portray. Whether you prefer an intimate dinner for two, a dinner party for forty or a Family Reunion for generations- we can accommodate you.

THE PICNIC PAVILION IS COMPLETE!

The Picnic Pavilion is located in our grassy festival grounds, complimented by a pond. Perfect for company picnics, family reunions, birthday celebrations or get-together with friends. Outdoor grill availble for rental. Can host up to 100 people for a private event. Picnic Pavilion is open during our regular Winery hours. Call ahead and pre-order your gourmet Picnic Tote!

PPW Picnic Policy

Picnics are only to be enjoyed in our Picnic Pavilion or on our Picnic grounds. No outside food is permitted in the Winery building area.

In order to enjoy an outside picnic, guests must purchase wine, that same day, from the Winery to take down to the Picnic grounds.

Wine consumed must be purchased through PPWinery only.
No outside alcoholic beverages allowed, including beer.

Guests must clean up after themselves. No trash is to be left behind in the Pavilion or on the grounds. Trash bins are provided.

Guests must be courteous during any Wedding Ceremonies scheduled at the Ceremony Grounds.(Guests may call in advance to plan around those times)

Facility Rental fees for an exclusive event at the Pavilion:
If renting the facility, Client must provide own trash bags for clean up, no trash will be left behind.

Picnic Pavilion will not be available for exclusive rental during a Wedding Ceremony at the Ceremony grounds.

The Richland Ballroom is our elegantly appointed event wing. The room is lined with French doors that open onto the 2500 square foot sculpted patio, over looking the bowl- shaped vineyard below. The ballroom is ideal for your largest venue seating up to 250 people. Your needs can be met for additional space and entertaining with the flow of people extending onto the patio.

The Barrel Room is filled with romantic ambiance. This is the perfect setting for rehearsal dinners or wine and fondue parties. Picture flickering candles perched on top of 100 aging oak casks filling the room with dancing shadows. Brick arches and stucco walls define the room architecturally, while bronze statues give it a Tuscan accent. Seating up to 50 comfortably.2008 Rental Fees

The Coyote Wine Cave is named after the wineries first visitors. Just as the concrete began to set in the floor of the cave, a coyote and her pup toured the production level leaving behind a trail of their paw prints and a story to tell. Enter the cave through a pair of hand-made, two hundred year old Chestnut doors adorned with hand-forged metal on one side and exit through a Barrel shaped opening, carefully formed and laid with brick. The cave can accommodate many venues, choose to dine among the oak casks, host a wine dinner or have your ceremony performed in this romantic setting. Seating up to 35.

The Library Room is the keeper of our fine wines. This is our winemaker's favorite spot since the walls are adorned with a case of wine from each varietals and each vintage that deserved to be called a "Reserve." So, let us reserve this room for your intimate anniversary dinner or a surprise birthday dinner. Seating up to 8.
